UNLEASHED – Lyric-Video zu “Defenders Of Midgard” veröffentlicht
Die legendäre, schwedische Death-Metal-Band UNLEASHED hat nun den zweiten Song “Defenders Of Midgard” vom kommenden Studioalbum
»Dawn Of The Nine« veröffentlicht, welches am 24. April 2015 via Nuclear Blast erscheinen wird.
Mastermind Johnny sagt zur Erklärung der Lyrics:
“As time passed, the Midgard Warriors prepared for life in this new situation. A time to heal and prepare for what is about to come. With the wisdom from their past, and their current strength
and determination, the time has come to rise and defend what is rightfully ours.
The Althing initiated a campaign to hunt down all that is left of White Christ’s rule in Svithiod, and to reinstate the Hammer and the Rule of Thor.”

Das Album wurde von Gitarrist und Produzent Fredrik Folkare in seinen Chrome Studios in Stockholm aufgenommen.
UNLEASHED zählen mit ihrer Mixtur aus Melodie und Brutalität als die Ur-Gesteine des Viking-Death Metal schlechthin.
Auch nach 26-Jahren Bandgeschichte, sind ihre Riffs immer noch wahre Geschosse, ihre Refrains episch und dies verbindet sich zu kompromissloser Härte mit Hymnen an Odin.
