We all wade through archetypes. We all ARE archetypes. Distant echoes of a life both primeval and noble. To embrace these archetypes, to accept them not only as a part of life but as life itself is what some may call enlightenment, some peace of mind. ELUVEITIE call it »Ategnatos«. And by using their longest ever gap between albums to gather momentum, they just forged their strongest album around it. »Ategnatos« will be released on April 5th 2019 via Nuclear Blast.
The band has released the title track as the debut single, right in time for the pre-order start. The song can be heard and watched in the form of a music video over on YouTube. The music video was produced by the Polish company Grupa13 in January 2019.
Chrigel Glanzmann states:
„So here it is, the first single off our new album (well, apart the ’sneak peek‘ you already got a year ago with ‚Rebirth‘), being the title track itself. It’s the song off the album introducing you into the whole mental realm that is ‚Ategnatos‘! Its message comes inconvenient maybe, challenging, evocative. This is a call from Antumnos!“
Recently, Swiss folk metal leaders ELUVEITIE also announced a European tour. The band will join forces with the legendary metal-act LACUNA COIL from Italy and the nu-metal-newcomcers INFECTED RAIN from Moldavia.
